Skoda releases official UK pricing for the new Octavia vRS, a sportier model, namely the “fastest Octavia ever”, available in both sedan and wagon configurations. Power is offered by a potent 2.0-liter TSI unit producing 220 horsepower for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6,8 seconds and a top speed of 248 km/h.
If you want a more frugal model, be sure to check out the diesel version motivated by a 2.0-liter TDI with 184 horsepower.
The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8,1 seconds while the top speed is 232 km/h. At the exterior, buyers will get 18-inch alloys, bi-xenon headlights, a dual-pipe exhaust system, LED daytime running lights and a revised front grille.
Interior features include a revised infotainment system, new dual-zone climate control, sport seats and a restyled steering wheel.
However, vRS stands for increased performance, therefore, Skoda offers an XDS front differential, a sports suspension and new steering system. UK buyers will be able to order the Czech model starting next month with the base model priced from £22,990 OTR.
