Even the Geneva Motor Show is just few weeks away, Skoda decided to let us get a closer look at the new Octavia Scout. We talk about a more rugged variant of the current Octavia Combi, a model which has an increased ground clearance in order to tackle all types of terrain.
The model is raised by 33mm to be more specific while other tweaks include revised bumpers with matte black protection parts, 17-inch alloy wheels, revised fog lights and silver inserts.
Inside, buyers will get a leather-wrapped steering wheel while the all-wheel drive system is also offered.
The Haldex 5 coupling system completes the list of improvement and is well received considering the model’s off-road aspirations.
“Our new model is a scout in the best sense and offers customers a unique package, comprising a striking off-road look and impressive all-wheel characteristics,” says the company.
