The small British model benefits now from a new special edition dedicated just for the United Kingdom market. Being available at a price of £11,405 the new Smart ForTwo LightShine edition packs under the bonnet the 0.8-liter CDI three-cylinder engine able to produce 54 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque.
It’s true that the acceleration of the model from 0 to 100 km/h is not the strongest point of the little model as it manages to sprint in “only” 16,8 seconds but to be honest it got other purposes.
At the exterior the special LightShine Edition brings daytime running LED lights, new alloy wheels and a matte green body color. Inside the British people from Smart fitted a new sports steering wheel together with a new bigger navigation system.
The two-seater small model, the Smart ForTwo LightShine Edition will be produced in a limited series of 86 units. The CO2 emissions issued by the British model is 86 g/km.
