Audi unveiled the all-new A5 lineup some time ago and the German based carmaker is already planning the introduction of the hardcore version RS5 Coupe, the test mule getting some action on the Ring wearing full camouflage.
As we can depict from spy video below, the test mule depicts an extremely aggressive bod styling which will separate it from the A5 Coupe version, coming with custom styling kit, adding advanced aerodynamics and increase stance.
The car`s stance is also given by the new suspension system and lowering springs which lower its height ride, adding as well wide alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin is also upgraded with sport front seats, Audi`s new and high-performance virtual cockpit freshly introduced trims and so on.
Under the hood, the all-new Audi RS5 Coupe will be equipped with a fresh 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which replaces the former 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, now developing 450 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque.
This will allow a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, at a topping of 280 km/h. Once it will arrive on the market, the new 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe will become the direct competitor of the new BMW M4 Coupe and Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe.
