Subaru took advantage of the Tokyo Motor Show to unveil a new concept model, namely the Cross Sport Design. The Japanese prototype is a wagon variant of the BRZ with a series of styling tweaks.
Of course, being a concept, it features a series of futuristic styling cues such as the revised headlights, new front and rear bumpers and side mirrors. The optical blocks receive LED lights while in the rear we also find a dual-pipe exhaust system.
Under the hood, Subaru is very likely to offer a 2.0-liter boxer engine producing around 200 horsepower and 205Nm of torque.
However, this is not extremely relevant as we talk about a concept model. Even so, the situation might change as this prototype is meant to preview an upcoming model which could be introduced next year.
Inside, Subaru offers Alcantara sport seats, gloss black trim, leather inserts and alloy pedals.
