The Japanese folks at Subaru released official pricing figures for the new WRX in the United States. The entry-level model starts at $26,295 and comes with a 2.0-liter engine producing 268 horses and 349 Nm of torque.
It is linked to a six-speed manual transmission but a CVT unit is also available. If you want more power, there is the Subaru WRX STI which benefits from a bigger 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 305 horsepower and 393 Nm of torque.
Pricing for this model starts at $34,495 but there’s also the WRX STI Launch Edition which is slightly more expensive at $37,395.
It will be produced in a limited series of 1,000 units and benefits from keyless access, blue accents inside, a special gear lever and the WR Blue Pearl exterior finish.
“Both vehicles arrive into dealerships this Spring exclusively as wide-body design sedans,” adds the company. Be sure to add the $795 destination fee in order to get the exact price tag.
