Subaru officially revealed the XV Crosstrek Hybrid at the New York Auto Show, a fuel-efficient crossover model which will hit the U.S. dealerships later this year.
Under the hood, power is provided by a 2.0-liter boxer unit producing 148 horsepower and 196Nm of torque, backed up by an electric motor with 13 hp and 65Nm of torque.
Linked to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), the new XV Crosstrek Hybrid is capable to return a fuel economy of 28mpg (city) and 34mpg (highway).
Styling features include new front and rear bumpers, a special Plasma Green Pearl finish, a revised front grille with an active shutter system, new wheels and more.
Furthermore, Subaru says that the new XV Crosstrek Hybrid is the most fuel-efficient four-wheel drive crossover sold in the States. More information including pricing and availability will be released soon.
