The guys at Superchips are back again with another ECU car upgrade on their belt. This time, it’s time for the Range Rover Sport HSE and the Land Rover Discovery 4, actually, since both cars feature a 3-litre TDV6 one, resulting in more performance and a better driving experience, which can only mean good news for interested owners of said vehicles.
Thanks to the ECU remap, the 3-litre TDV6 engine now sports 282 bhp (as opposed to the 247 bhp of the standard version) with an increase in the torque department to 638 Nm (unlike the stock 587 Nm of torque).
As always, the car owners don’t have to worry about an increased fuel consumption, but they can expect a noticeable decrease in that department, thanks to the lower rev torque that the Superchips upgrade brings.
The Superchips ECU upgrade features a full 1-year warranty (or 30,000 miles) coupled with a Full Customer Service Guaranty and can be only accessed at one of the Superchips network or dealer, since a qualified technician is needed for its install. The upgrade has a 445 GBP price tag (VAT and installation included).
