Suzuki decided to enter the British market with the Kizashi sedan, a model which returned poor sales for the Japanese company. However, Suzuki tries to revive the sales by offering the Kizashi in the UK with a starting price of £21,995. Anticipating the poor sales, the Japanese manufacturer says that they plan to sell only 500 cars in the UK next year.
Under the bonnet, the Suzuki Kizashi is benefiting from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder petrol unit offering 178 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 230 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The fuel economy on the combined cycle is 34mpg UK, approximately 8,3 liters/100 km.
Suzuki provides a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with the petrol engine but also the i-AWD all-wheel drive system. The standard features of the model include electric windows, MP3 CD tuner with eight speakers, keyless entry, heated side mirrors, seven airbags and also Dual Zone automatic air conditioning.
The main features of the exterior look include front and rear bumpers, 18-inch alloy wheels, body side sill extensions while inside the customers get a sport steering wheel, leather seats and special stitching.
