Ferrari 458 Italia. It sounds right, it feels right and it actually is right. There’s a lot of people calling it perfect.
Most of those aren’t tuners though. They think they can improve on anything, regardless of the car maker, car, performance or feel.
TC Concept seem to be proving my point as they just added this creation to their list of products.
They decided to mix up the 458 with a bodykit coming from Novitec Rosso, repainted alloy wheels and some new trim pieces.
On top of everything there’s some paint work done to both the interior and exterior and there you go. That’s the package they call the Generel Consul.
I’m sure it means something to them but it hardly seems like the top dog. Mostly because the Ferrari 458 Italia is the same when it comes to driving it.
The only thing different in this format is just how ready you are to advertise the fact that genetics made life very easy for your underwear.
There have even been some concerns that Novitec Rosso went a little overboard with the body kit in this case and that the aerodynamics may have been spoiled.
So far there’s just no proof of this happening and TC Concept is certainly not planning to shoot one of its feet.
I’d say we should all hope that everything about the TC Concept Ferrari 458 Italia is fine but really, do you care?
Anybody willing to live with the embarrassment of driving such an overstated car will certainly not care about losing some 2% aerodynamic efficiency.
