The ATV quad-bikes have quickly turned from an utilitarian vehicle to a recreational one.
Keeping with the trend, the manufacturers have been making them more and more appealing to a wider customer range.
The latest ATV from Honda, the 2014 FourTrax Foreman Rubicon is a prime example of how the quad-bikes have evolved. This new machine is fitted with all sorts of technologies like the Hondamatic transmission with several traction modes and torque-sensitive differential.
The FourTrax Foreman Rubicon also features adjustable suspensions, Electric Shift Program (ESP) and Electric Power Steering (EPS). This makes for a smooth ride and fine control no matter how rough the terrain.
And while this will indeed fill many an hour with joy and excitement, the Honda FourTrax Foreman Rubicon can also be used for some serious hauling. It has two racks for packing equipment and a pretty high towing capacity for an ATV. The only thing that might drag the machine down a bit is low ground clearance, which is only 7.5 inches or 190 mm.
