The Germans at BMW revealed the i3 Coupe Concept, a prototype we talked several times in the past months.
The electric model is part of BMW’s i range of eco-friendly vehicles and, most probably, foreshadows an upcoming production model.
Under the hood we find an electric motor delivering 170 horsepower and 250Nm of torque. The total driving range is rated at 160 kilometers thanks to a lithium-ion battery pack.
The new BMW i3 Coupe Concept is 3,964mm long and 1,768mm wide riding a wheelbase of 2,570mm. Inside, BMW offers the iDrive infotainment system, a two-seat configuration, leather and wood trim but also aluminum inserts.
On the outside, we see a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with low rolling-resistance tires for an improved fuel economy, an orange finish with black accents and a slightly revised shape.
More information will be released this week at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
