BMW released official photos and details on the new M6 GranCoupe, a model which is expected to go on sale in Germany in May while U.S. customers will get the new model next summer.
Under the hood we find a 4.4-liter V8 unit capable to deliver 560 horsepower and 680Nm of torque. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 4,2 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h.
Power is transferred to the wheels via a seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission while fuel economy figures are rated at 9,9lt/100km (23,7mpg US).
At the exterior, the new BMW M6 GranCoupe comes with reworked front and rear bumpers, new side skirts, larger 20-inch alloy wheels, a quad-pipe exhaust system but also a lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof.
Entering the cabin, the German carmaker provides a new M steering wheel, leather seats, GPS satellite navigation, Alcantara roof liner and illuminated sill plates. European pricing for the 2013 BMW M6 GranCoupe starts from €128,800.
