The Germans at Mercedes officially unveiled the new E63 AMG in both sedan and estate variants. The AMG-tuned model gets few styling improvements including revised bumpers, side skirts, trapezoidal tailpipes and new alloy wheels.
Of course, the most important upgrades are found under the hood where the 5.5-liter V8 engine is capable to produce 557 horsepower and 720Nm of torque.
With such resources, the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in 4,2 seconds while opting for the all-wheel drive model you will get even a quicker sprint time in just 3,7 seconds.
A new version of the Mercedes E63 AMG, called S-Model, is offered as well and comes with slightly more power under the hood.
To be more precise, the same V8 engine produces 585 horses and 800Nm of torque, additional power which shaves 0,1 seconds off the acceleration time for both sedan and estate versions.
The new Mercedes E63 AMG will go on sale this April with full pricing figures to be released in the coming weeks.
