After a series of teasers, few leaked photos and some confusion regarding its final name, the new Italian supercar bearing Pagani’s badge has been officially introduced at the Geneva Motor Show this week. Pagani Huayra is the newest supercar in the range of the Modena-based manufacturer, a model which replaces the well-known Zonda.

It’s been seven years of struggle to build the new Huayra but it seems that the result is the expected one. Under the bonnet we will find an AMG engine, namely the 6.0-liter V12 unit offering 700 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque.

With such power under the hood and a total mass of just 1,350 kilograms thanks to a lightweight structure, the new Italian model is able to deliver very good performance, hitting a top speed of 370 km/h with no problems. Pagani Huayra also fits a sequential six-speed transmission able to optimize the power delivered by the engine.
