Renault has confirmed pricing and specification for their all-new Megane Coupé-Cabriolet in one of the biggest markets in Europe for convertibles; the United Kingdom.
The new the hardtop convertible models come in to offer a choice of two trim levels, Dynamique TomTom and GT with prices starting from £21,595.
As far as engines and transmissions are concerned there will be a number of six possible combinations as the petrol powered range includes a 1.4 liter turbo with an output of 130 horsepower and a 2.0 liter with 140 horsepower that’s hooked up to a CVT. Over on the diesel powered side there’s a 1.5 liter developing 110 horsepower that’s linked to a dual clutch transmission and a 1.9 liter producing 130 horsepower.
Should you feel special and chose the GT variant you will have to pick between a 2.0 liter turbo petrol with 180 horsepower and a 2.0 liter turbo diesel with 160 horsepower.
If engines aren’t your main concern than you should know that all Megane CC models feature an electric panoramic folding glass roof, a nice set of 17-inch alloys, 4x15W radio CD with Bluetooth and AUX input, air conditioning, automatic headlights and wipers, cruise control, fixed glass wind deflector, hands free keycard, speed limiter and fully integrated Carminat TomTom satellite navigation as standard.
