The Japanese car maker decided to release official pricing for the Prius+ in the UK, a seven-seater MPV scheduled to go on sale in July.
The new Toyota Prius+ is based on the Prius V available in North America but features a new row of seats and a boot space of 200 liters.
You can gain a total of 505 liters if the third last two seats are folded.
“Toyota continues the expansion its hybrid technology into new areas of the market with the launch this summer of Prius+, Europe’s first full hybrid seven-seat MPV,” adds the car maker.
Thanks to its innovative Hybrid Synergy Drive powertrain, the Japanese model is able to return a fuel economy of 68,9mpg UL (4,1 liters/100km) and CO2 emissions of 96g/km in case of the T4 trim.
When fitted with the T Spirit trim level, the Prius+ offers a combined fuel consumption of 64,2mpg UK (4,4 liters/100km) and 100g/km of CO2 emissions.
The base T4 package includes LED daytime running lights, air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels, head-up display and a rear view camera. Leather seats, larger alloys and a satellite navigation system are available for the T Spirit level.
