The Japanese people from Toyota Racing Development decided to create a performance package for the Prius hybrid, a package able to improve some features of the model. What’s new? Well, the Plus package brings a new front bumper, new side sills, a rear air diffuser and 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 215/45 R17 tires.
An improved sports suspension, a reduced ground clearance and other elements able to improve the handling and steering are available for the performance package developed by Toyota Racing Development. Toyota said that the drag coefficient of 0.25 was kept untouched after the aesthetic changes were made.
Few logos of the performance package were added both at the interior and exterior. The main benefits brought by the Plus package developed for the Japanese model is the improved handling and the extra technical performance while the aerodynamic figures were not affected by the technical or exterior changes in any way.
