Toyota pulled the wraps off a special edition for the Aygo city car. Called x-cite, the new model will go on sale starting next month and comes with a series of styling tweaks.
At the exterior, you will notice new 15-inch gloss black alloy wheels, a Cyan Splash finish with contrasting black roof, pillars and side mirrors as well as some black accents on the quarter panels and hood. The chrome door handles are also new while the black and blue theme is continued inside.
Under the hood you will find a small 1.0-liter VVT-i engine producing 69 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque. The three-cylinder petrol unit returns an average fuel economy of 3,8 liters/100 km with CO2 emissions of just 88 g/km.
Available in Europe, the new Toyota Aygo x-cite edition brings both interior and exterior changes that want to make the car more appealing to young customers.
An array of safety systems such as Pre-Collision and Lane Departure Alert are also offered on this special edition. Pricing details were not released yet but we will find more on the Aygo x-cite as soon as the model goes on sale.
