Toyota officially announced that a new special edition of the Prius model will enter the US market soon. To be more precise, we talk about the Prius Persona Series edition, a vehicle which is priced from $27,130.
According to Toyota, this special edition is based on the Three level and adds larger 17-inch alloy wheels, new Black Cherry Pearl, Blizzard Pearl and Black finishes.
Power is provided by the same 1.8-liter unit capable to deliver 134 horsepower. The hybridized four-cylinder engine helps the model to do the 0-100 km/h sprint in 9,8 seconds with a top speed of 180 km/h.
“The Prius adds a style-focused Persona Series Special Edition model, adding exterior changes and equipment to a Prius Three to create a distinct visual package,” says Toyota.
Interior tweaks include new chrome trim for the door panels and steering wheel but also new SofTex seats in a black finish and red stitching.
