Volkswagen has recently announced the availability of the all-new 2017 Crafter full-sized van in the United Kingdom, the model coming in three versions, starting this April.
The Crafter range comprises three level trims – the base Startline (£23,920), the mid-level Trendline (£25,270), as well as the top of the line Highline (£29,220). Each one comes with its own features and characteristics.
Starting with the entry-level, the Startline comes with lots of safety features, such as driver alert system, cross-wind assist, automatic post-collision braking and much more. Other features also refer to updated audio system with the latest generation Bluetooth, and so on.
On the other hand, the mid-level Trendline is equipped with more tweaks, like cruise control with speed limited, electrical and heated side mirrors, wooden floor in the load area, 27-degree opening rear doors, or multi-function steering wheel.
Finally, the topper Highline tweaks parking sensors, front fog lights with cornering function, adaptive cruise control, heated windscreen, comfort-plus driver`s seat; but it can also be had with optional safety features – park assist, rear traffic alert, side protection, trailer assist and so on.
In the engine department, the 2017 Volkswagen Crafter comes available with a brand-new 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine with four configurations: 101 horsepower, 120 horsepower, 138 horsepower and 175 horsepower, being sent to the front, rear or all wheels as well. The engine can also be had with a standard manual or an optional automatic transmission.
Official orders for the 2017 Volkswagen Crafter start in May, after arriving a month earlier in all UK dealerships.
