Mercedes-AMG builds the most impressive rides which are designed to satisfy the most pretentious clientele, being instantly recognizable after their extremely aggressive design characteristics, better enhanced interiors and more monstrous power under the hood.
And one of the most highly-appreciated models from AMG is no other than the mind-blowing 2019 G63, announced recently in the United Kingdom at the incredible price tag of £143,305. Besides the regular G63 based model, there is also the ‘Edition 1’ which costs £164,495.
Each variant comes with its own goodies, while the optional package available better equips the Edition 1.
For the entry-level 2019 Mercedes-AMG G63, the standard options include multi-beam LED headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, AMG Sports exhaust system, as well as 2.0-inch titanium grey rims. Other features also comprise electric sunroof, high-performance brakes, AMG Ride Control suspension (also available on other new models), or smartphone integration.
There is also the AMG Night Pack which is standard on the Edition 1, yet quite an expensive option for the base G63. This means an extra £2,700 and includes features like 21-inch alloy wheels or Obsidian Black exterior mods. On the other hand, the Winter Package is another £1,750 with heated windscreen and remote-controlled auxiliary heater.
The Edition 1 with the AMG Night Package is more on steroids with the massive 22-inch matte black rims with red pepper tires, while the Winter Package is more of an exclusive and high-class one, with AMG Exclusive Nappa leather upholstery in black with red inserts and contrast stitching.
The interior high-tech gadgetries are standard on both variants and consist of 12.3-inch digital cockpit display, 12.3-inch infotainment display, Thermatronic three-zone climate control, Burmester surround sound system and so on.
Power comes for a 4.0-liter V8 petrol burner, churning out 585 PS and 850 Nm of torque. This means a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a staggering 4.5 seconds, at a top speed of 220 km/h. However, with the AMG Driver`s Package, the top speed is raised to 240 km/h.
