The gorgeous Alfa Romeo in all its forms, including the top of the line QV is now available for orders in the United Kingdom, with prices to start from £29,180. The topper QV is also set at £59.000. Please find full prices in the media gallery.
As we already know, the Italian carmaker launched the all-new Giulia as the direct rival of the 3-Series from BMW, with the QV being the competitor of the BMW M3.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia lineup is offered in five versions, such as the standard Giulia, Super, Technica, Speciale and the top of the line Quadrofoglio, all of them coming available with two petrol burners and two diesels, hooked to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The lineup`s most outstanding features refer to the powerful engines under the hood, with the top of the line QV using a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, with mechanicals taken from Ferrari`s twin-turbo V8 engine, developing a staggering 510 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in just 3.7 seconds, managing to easily outrun the BMW M3.
In the safety features department, the Giulia lineup comes with Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Emergency Brake with pedestrian recognition, Integrated Brake System, Lane Departure Warning and so on.
Concerning the car`s future success in the United Kingdom, Damien Dally, Country Manager at Alfa Romeo UK, has said that “The all-new Alfa Romeo Giulia is a true driver’s car, offering beautiful Italian styling and stunning performance, and so we’re delighted to see strong early interest in the car. Passion and practicality combine in the Alfa Romeo Giulia; there’s never been more temptation to own an Alfa Romeo.”
