The British department of Volvo released official pricing figures for the new V40 Cross Country and V40 R-Design. The two new models can be ordered now while they are expected to reach the customers starting 2013.
The new Volvo V40 Cross Country starts at £22,595 and comes with a 113hp base variant. A range-topping 251hp diesel engine comes with a price tag of £33,875.
Standard equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, silver roof rails, rain sensors, and electric door mirrors. Optional features such as larger alloys, LED lights, leather upholstery and all-wheel drive system can be requested as well for extra cost.
On the other hand, there is the Volvo V40 R-Design, a model which receives 17-inch alloy wheels, new front and rear bumpers, a rear diffuser and silver mirror housings.
Inside you will find new trim and also exclusive leather upholstery. In terms of power, Volvo will offer an entry-level 113hp D2 unit but also a more powerful 251hp T5 petrol powerplant.
Pricing starts at £22,295 for the V40 R-Design topping out at £31,390 for the better-equipped Lux Nav version.
