The newly-introduced 2017 Audi Q7 in the United States will receive a new engine next year, which will be priced from $49,000.
We are looking here at the fresh 2.0-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine, available from the aforementioned price, but if you want to add more goodies to the variant, then you can also choose the Premium Plus, setting you back at a higher $53,000.
The new addition to the Q7 lineup is set to come with worthy performance. We are dealing here with a version which is set to be faster, more lightweight and 22% more efficient than the 2015 Audi Q7 3.0-liter V6 model. Speaking about lightweight chassis, the model shed off around 226 kg, coming with an overall towing capacity of 2.2 tonnes.
The all-new 2017 Audi Q7 with the 2.0-liter TFSI churns out 252 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a good 7.7 seconds, making it 0.6 seconds faster than the 3.0-liter V6. The power is sent to all wheels via eight-speed Tiptronic transmission with the company`s new quattro all-wheel drive configuration.
The all-new engine also comes with the latest mechanics, including a valve system with thermal management and updated exhaust manifold integration, and so on. All these new upgrades make the version more fuel-efficient, as we are looking here at an EPA consumption of a combined city / highway of 22 mpg.
