US: 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus Exclusive Edition Shows Off with Laser Lights, Adds Other Fine Styling Bits

Audi has recently announced the arrival of a limited-run 2017 Audi R8 V20 Plus Exclusive Edition in the United States, each of the 25 vehicles available on the marker being priced at $229,900, without the $1,250 destination fee.

The model will receive exclusivity at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show later on this month, but the carmaker decided to preview it ahead the event, the model coming in a premiere in the United States with laser lights and a whole bunch of styling bits.

The US-only 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus Exclusive Edition comes with full-LED headlights with laser high-beam module and adding sweeping front turn signal indicators. According to the carmaker, the laser beam activates at speed of 64 km/h and increases the car`s visibility in different weather conditions.

Besides the LED headlights with laser beam module, the all-new V10 Plus Exclusive Edition also features a special Quantum Gray exterior colour with carbon sideblade and orange stripe, adding lots of carbon fiber components on the side mirror caps, front lip spoiler, rear diffuser and rear wing, all complemented with the high-gloss anthracite 20-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin is also looking fresh with full leather package in black and orange accents, adding Alcantara headliner, custom floor mats, illuminated door sills with carbon matte finish, and so on. In terms of performance, the special edition will come with the same powertrain as the newly unveiled 2017 R8 V20 Plus. Please find below the car`s performance.

Top track speed – 199 mph.
