The North American based carmaker Ford has recently launched the all-new 2017 Fusion Sport on the local market, the model being available for sale this autumn from $34,350.
Considering the price, I think that the model is a real bargain compared to the BMW 340i xDrive which costs $13,500 more in the United States; even so, in terms of power, the Fusion squeezes out more power than the German model.
From a visual standpoint, the 2017 Ford Fusion Sport, comes with an extraordinary appealing design, highlighted by the 19-inch alloy wheels with a Tarnished Dark finish, four exhaust pipes or rear decklid spoiler.
Opening the doors, the interior welcomes you with front seats all-wrapped in suede and leather, along with the plethora of goodies. We might count here the Ford SYNC, SiriusXM radio or the carmaker`s new Access with Remote Start. Other features also include manual climate control, power front seats with heating function, adaptive cruise control, navigation system and more.
In case you want more features, then you can also opt for the Sport Upgrade Package available at $2,000, or the Driver Assist Package available at $1,625. Other optional amenities are the Active Park Assist which costs $995, or the Moonroof and Universal Garage Door Opener, available at $1,095.
Under the hood, the 2017 Ford Fusion Sport brags with a massive 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, churning out 325 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. This makes it 3 horsepower and 18 lb-ft of torque more powerful than the all-new BMW 340i. The engine is hooked to a six-speed transmission and all-wheel drive configuration.
