Hyundai America has officially released the price and specs for its all-new 2017 Elantra Eco model in the United States. Thus, you can have it from $20,650, without the $835, destination fee.
For the aforementioned price, the model comes available with a lot of exterior features like projector beam headlights, LED daytime running lights or 15-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin is highlighted by the seven-inch Display Audio system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, 3.5-inch TFT display in the instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, push-button ignition, power windows / locks, and more.
The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco comes equipped in the United States with an extremely fuel-efficient engine, in the shape of a 1.4-liter turbocharged GDI, with a good 128 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque. It is hooked to a seven-speeder EcoShift Dual Clutch Transmission that allows the Elantra burn 32 mpg in the city, 40 mpg on the highway and 35 mpg combined.
Even if it develops less than the present model Eco, the brand-new is more fuel-efficient. The current Elantra packs a higher 2.0-liter flat-four, with 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, burning out 29 mpg in the city, 38 mpg on the highway and 33 mpg combined.
