The 2017 F-Type coupe flagship is not doing that great in the United States, due to the high price and the increase demands from its competitors, so Jaguar-Land Rover has decided to launch an entry-level for the coupe and roadster versions, both coming at affordable prices.
Thus, the base 2017 Jaguar F-Type coupe will be available at $61,400, without the $995 destination fee, while the roadster will cost $65,600. We are dealing here with a down $3,600 and $2,700 respectively.
Apart the lower prices, both versions will come with more standard features, like partially electric driver`s seat, leather seats, infotainment system with GPS, Meridian surround system and a few more. Additional gizmos refer to the Jaguar EliteCare system with roadside assistance or the Jaguar InControl Protect & Remote service, with a 65,000 mile coverage or five-year warranty.
In the engine department, both the coupe and roadster will come with a 3.0-liter V6 supercharged unit, with 340 horsepower and 449 Nm of torque, hooked to a six-speed manual gearbox. This should be enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, at a topping of 259 km/h.
