Kia has recently announced that it will finally launch the long-expected 2017 Niro in the United States, the lovely crossover coming available now in five trims, amongst which sits the Launch Edition as a mid-level trim.
The entry-level FE costs $22,980 and is available with standard features such as the 16-inch alloy wheels, power windows, reversing camera, 7.0-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration and more.
On the other hand, its next in kin, the LX trim level can be had for $23,200 and adds more features at the exterior – LED taillights and roof rails – while the EX variant, costing $25,700, is equipped with LED DRLs, front fog lamps, heated seats, leather steering wheels, and a suite of safety features – Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lance Chance Assist and so on.
The 2017 Kia Niro Launch Edition is quite special and costs only $28,000. For that kind of money you get plenty of features, including the Snow White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl exterior colours, or 18-inch alloy wheels finished in Hyper Gray.
At the interior, the cabin boasts with the latest technology, like eight-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system, eight-inch touchscreen navigation, ten-way driver`s seat and so on.
Finally, the top of the line 2017 Niro Touring costs just $1,450 more than the Launch Edition and stands out from the crowd with HID headlights, heated steering wheels, ventilated seats, wireless phone charger smart cruise control or tilt sunroof.
For additional costs, the higher-end versions can also be equipped with three extra packages, available with Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning or Autonomous Emergency Braking System.
