I have to say “Heads off” for Nissan Japanese carmaker which has created the ultimate fighting machine in the shape of the 2017 GT-R Nismo, a real icon in terms of performance, aggressive body styling and advanced driving dynamics.
The 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo has all it takes to remain one of the fastest road-legal sports cars, coming with the latest enhancements in terms of mechanics.
The model was officially introduced at the Japanese Classic Car Show at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California, today, and will reach US dealerships pretty soon, at a price tag of $174,990.
The 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo is indeed expensive but we definitely know it is worth every penny, especially since the car`s main highlight is the impressive powertrain under the hood.
We are looking here at a massive 3.8-liter biturbo V6 VR38DETT engine, squeezing out a whopping 600 horsepower and 651 Nm of torque. Even if it comes with downsized power of 35 HP and 19 Nm of torque, as opposed to the 2017 GT-R Premium version, it is still an impressive ride to take into account.
Besides the brute force and power, the 2017 Nissan GT-R Nismo is also tweaked with high-flow and high-capacity turbochargers, the same ones used on the GT3 racer, providing improved fuel pump with combustion and optimized ignition timing control for each cylinder.
Other important mechanics refer to new shock absorbers, springs and stabilizers, all contributing to the car`s improved handling and driving capabilities.
