Aston Martin has recently announced the availability of the high-end version of the present Vanquish Volante, the long-expected Vanquish Volante S, the model coming in the US with an entry-level price of $312,950.
Visually, the model is taking its inspiration from the standard Volante and Vanquish Coupe, coming as well with its own outstanding styling features.
The car`s top features refer to the carbon fiber and aluminum parts around the front fascia and splitter, adding more aerodynamic side skirts, overhauled rear-end which reveals a standout diffuser, new exhaust system with quad tailpipes, updated suspension system and anti-roll bar bushes.
The chassis is built from aluminum and carbon fiber, which means that the new composites allow a curb weight of 3,834 pounds, with a 51:49 distribution, front to rear. The carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser also allow a much better stability on the road at high speeds.
The overall design is complemented with the 20-inch ten-spoke gloss black alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin is also tweaked with Alcantara on the seats, as well as the latest technology available on-board.
In the engine department, the all-new 2018 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante S packs a massive 6.0-liter V12, now developing a whopping 600 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, available at 5,500 rpm. This allows a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, when paired to a high-performance eight-speed Touchtronic II Transmission. The top speed is also electronically limited at 323 km/h. The model will also arrive in Europe, first in the UK, with prices to be announced at a later date.
