Vauxhall pulled the wraps off the new Insignia VXR SuperSport, a model already available for order in the United Kingdom.
The British model packs a powerful 2.8-liter V6 engine capable to deliver 320 horsepower thanks to a twin-scroll turbocharger and a high-performance forged steel crank.
With such resources, the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is possible in just 5,6 seconds while the top speed is rated at 273 km/h (170 mph). The new Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport benefits from an adaptive damping system and a HiPer strut front suspension.
“Like all new Vauxhall passenger cars, the Insignia VXR SuperSport comes with Lifetime Warranty and is available to order now through Vauxhall’s approved VXR dealers,” says Vauxhall.
The new Insignia VXR SuperSport is cheaper than the outgoing model, starting price for the 2013 model being £29,995.
The British car maker also claims that the new model is capable to offer true sporty sensations at an unbeatable price comparing to other UK production models such as the BMW 135i M Sport.
