It has been a while since we last heard about a Ferrari model getting spied on the track while undergoing heavy testing. And in fact, it is quite a joy to see a supercar getting its fair share of updates.
We are looking here at the official replacement of the current F12, set to debut next year under the “F12 M” moniker and coming with some improvements in terms of styling, at least.
The facelifted version was recently seen in a spy video while undergoing some tests on the track, the supercar revving its engine and going full throttle, which indicates a power increase under the hood.
In terms of styling, the 2017 Ferrari F12 M will be updated, expecting to see rather the same design, but adding new front and rear bumpers, updated lights and a few more tweaks inside the cabin – improved materials, updated infotainment system, 10.25-inch touch-screen high-resolution display, etc.
In the engine department, the Italian supercar maker will use the same naturally aspirated V12 engine, developing more than 730 horsepower, presently found on the F12. The new power will bring it closer to the F12 TdF version, meaning around 770 horsepower.
Unfortunately, this is all we know about the upcoming 2017 Ferrari F12 M, but until future details and prices, and an eventually debut next year, enjoy the spy video with the new model while undergoing full tests on the track!
