Ever since its first launch on the market around three years ago, the Ford Edge SUV has been quite a success in the United States and Europe, the model still providing the good looks and sporty attitude in the segment it represents.
Now, all it needed was just a little push to become more attractive, and Ford decided to add some special packages. One of them is the newly SEL Sport Appearance Package, making the 2018 Edge edition more appealing.
The package comes with extra goodies at the exterior, like the Magnetic Metallic-painted grille surround, front and rear skid plates, mirror caps, new rear spoiler, black light bezels and window trims, all complemented with the 10-spoke 19-inch Magnetic Metallic-painted wheels.
There are also optional features to take into account, like panoramic vista roof, blind spot monitoring system, hands-free power lift-gate and some extra features inside.
Speaking of interior, the cabin has been also tweaked with the Mayan Gray fabric seat coverings with Umber-coloured Miko sueded cloth perforated inserts, along with Umber contrast stitching with Copper Sands textured applique, carpets with Umber “Edge” logo, SYNC 3 with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, rear camera, reverse sensing system and so on.
In the engine department, the 2018 Ford Edge SEL Sport Appearance Package comes with a new 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine or a higher 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine as optional. Prices for this particular trim level will be revealed at a later date, meanwhile, enjoy the video with the model!
