The German tuners from AC Schnitzer well-known for their stylish tuning kits decided to transform the Mini E into a police vehicle. The British electric model got a new bodykit, few air intakes for the hood, a new set of side sills and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Of course the AC Schnitzer Mini E got all the equipment necessary for a police vehicle. The model was revealed at the Essen Auto Show, a motor show dedicated to the modified models. The Mini E Police car takes part of “Tune it! Safe!” campaign which encourage the safe tuning.
At the interior the Germans made few touches including new trim and a new set of aluminum pedals. Taking about performance, Mini E got a new high performance braking system while other modifications in this chapter are unavailable. A two-color exterior paint was choosen by the Germans from AC Schnitzer, the blue color being present of course.
