General Motors decided to reveal the production process of a wonderful model in my opinion that is the new Opel Astra. All the action takes part at an European plant, more exactly at GM’s plant in Gliwice, Poland. In about one and a half minutes (ignoring the intro and outro of the video), the German manufacturer shows us how the new Opel Astra is produced.

The 2010 Opel Astra was revealed last year at the Frankfurt Auto Show that was held in September. The new Opel Astra comes with an affordable price starting from about $16,500, benefits from front-wheel drive and can be ordered together with three different transmission: a five or six-speed manual one and a six-speed automatic transmission.

The engine range is also rich offering various engine options such as a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine able to develop between 120 horsepower to 140 horsepower but also few diesel engines for those willing.
