The Germans from Gumpert decided to take the new Apollo for a ride at the Monza circuit in Italy. Actually, we talk about a modified version of the German supercar, almost able to reach the 800hp barrier.
The modified Apollo that you can see in the video is a version that meets all the requirments to legally run the streets and developes 789hp squeezed from the 4.2-liter bi-turbo unit borrowed from Audi. Compared to the standard Gumpert Apollo which develops 641hp and also to the Sport version developing 690hp, the modified model tested at the Monza circuit offering 789hp is the most powerful model.
Moreover, some unofficial sources claim that this model is the only Apollo in Italy. Thanks to the following video you can actually see and feel the experience of driving a 800hp German supercar as there are some shots from the interior while the driver is running with more than 250 km/h.
Additional shots from the exterior are also there, thus, you can see how the supercare behave on the circuit.
