Honda Accord is currently celebrating 40 years of existence on the North American market and used the occasion to highlight the model in an extremely emotional and exciting video.
The video presents the Accord in its original form, first launched on the market in 1976 and carries on with the next models that followed throughout the decades, becoming one of the iconic models in the United States.
In the United States, the Japanese based carmaker managed to sell no less than 12.7 million Accord models, all of them being manufactured at the company`s factories across the US.
In a recent interview, John Mendel, executive vice president at Honda America Motor Company, stated that “The Accords embodies the challenging spirit of Honda and our commitment to delivering innovative products to our customers of the highest quality, reliability and value.”
And indeed, Honda Accord used to make and still does make our lives better, with its exquisite design, driving capabilities and fuel-efficiency.
Honda representatives have also stated that the company is the first Japanese carmaker to have produced a vehicle in the United States, and the first one to have exported the first US units in other parts of the world.
