Mercedes and AMG joined forces and created a monster car that would pose serious threat to the likes of Porsche, BMW or Audi, and that beast is no other than the all-new AMG GT R, an extreme car set for track use alone.
Well, not quite for track use alone, but almost close, especially since the Mercedes-AMG GT R was bred on the Ring, coming with advanced aerodynamics and sheer performance under the hood, that would make it one of the fastest track sports cars in the world.
And this attribute was recently confirmed by Sport Auto magazine, who had this curiosity of taking the Mercedes-AMG GT R on the Ring with the sole purpose of braking a personal record.
And it did just fine on the tracks, managing to lap the track in just 7 minutes and 11 seconds, making it way faster than the Lexus LFA.
