I have always loved the Maybach luxurious limousine from Mercedes-Benz, a genuine car built to fit a king`s needs and imposing itself with a massive wheelbase and extravagant interior.
But it seems that the German carmaker is taking things to a whole new level in terms of design, as the future high-end models will come with a different approach. And it is quite simple envisioning its future Maybach limousine by taking a closer look at the so called Mercedes-Maybach 6, recently unveiled in Monterey.
It is a mixture between a sports car and a true limo of the fourth millennium, all comprised with an extremely futuristic body styling and sheer performance under the hood.
The Mercedes-Maybach 6 is big, around 6 meters long and might preview the next production serious, coming with LED headlights and taillights, chrome front grille, elongated hood and other body elements that make it extravagant and more stylish. Let`s not forget to massive make the 24-inch alloy wheels, which make it extremely aggressive.
The concept`s cabin is by far the most advanced from a technological point of view, adding high-end materials for a more pleasant and luxurious feel. The cabin boasts with touch-screens, active windscreen with GPS and other-like systems, beautifully complemented by the wood accents, elm on the floor, and so on.
In the engine department, the Mercedes-Maybach 6 is powered by four permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, hooked to a battery pack, all juicing up a whopping 750 horsepower. This way, the concept is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h under 4.0 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. The range is also impressive: 500 km. The system is even more impressive, as it also utilizes a fast charging option, meaning that the 350 kWh system can be charged enough in just 6 minutes to provide a 100 km range.
