The British manufacturer decided to reveal few photos and details together with a presentation video for their latest concept, Mini Paceman, a model which will debut at the Detroit Auto Show, in January next year. Mini Paceman concept borrows Countryman’s platform but adopts a coupe style as you can see in the photos below.
At the exterior Mini prepared 19-inch alloy wheels and a revised front grille with chromed parts together with some air intakes for the front bumper. Mini describes the Paceman concept as “urban and masculine” while the interior is “a blend of modern functionality and luxurious character.”
Inside, Paceman concept brings a slim centre console and Countryman’s U-profile rail system but also high quality materials and leather upholstery. An all-wheel drive system is available while under the bonnet we find a 1.6-liter four-cylinder propeller able to develop 208 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. Mini claims that this concept could be the first SAC in the small car segment, being in this way an important milestone.
