Volvo drivers are now happy to know that their preferred music will be available through the Spotify music service, starting this spring. The first models to be equipped with the system are the all-new Volvo XC90, S90 as well as the V90.
Volvo has renewed its partnership with Spotify and now thousands of Volvo drivers all around the world can use the service free of charge. However, in case you buy a brand-new Volvo and want a Premium subscription, you will have a 30-day free trial, followed by a monthly-paid subscription.
Bjorn Annwall, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Service at Volvo Cars, stated that “anyone that has used Spotify knows how great it is – you have access to your favourite music, all the time. We are very proud of our unique and custom-made interface for Spotify.”
The Spotify can be accessible on all Volvo cars around the world, the app being accessed via Bluetooth or Apple CarPlay, for which you will not have to pay a dime. In the new Volvo cars however, the Spotify acts as a native application that uses the Sensus user interface with advanced functionalities. Therefore, the app might come with some extra chargers.
