The aftermarket specialists from the well-known ZIPtuning aftermarket shop have recently laid their eyes on the all-new Volkswagen Golf GTE, the first hybrid from the entire Golf line.
The Volkswagen Golf GTE is a gorgeous car which comes with an evolutionary body style and an impressive hybrid powertrain under the hood. It is that Golf model that can be taken to an aftermarket shops and carry out a good upgrade kit.
The ZIPtuning has fitted this Volkswagen Golf GTE with a remapped ECU, meaning more power from its hybrid powertrain. The model is now outputting 231 horsepower and 408 Nm of torque, as opposed to the standard 204 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
In terms of performance, the Volkswagen Golf GTE by ZIPtuning is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds, at a topping of 217 km/h. We might observe just a slight modification in terms of performance figures, but it isn’t too bad at all.
