The Germans at Audi revealed at Paris the Quattro concept, as an anniversary model to the Quattro model revealed 30 years ago, at the 1980 Geneva Motor Show. The Audi Quattro concept is based on the RS5 model and benefits from the “Col de Turini White” color at the exterior. The two-seat model combines the aluminum structure with carbon fiber parts managing to obtain a low total mass of just 1300 kilograms.
The German concept uses the quattro all-wheel drive system and together with the shorter wheelbase and lower height compared to the RS5 base model, the Quattro concept achieves impressive performance. Thus, the German model powered by the five-cylinder 2.5-liter TFSI propeller able to provide 408 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque is capable to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds.
More exactly, Audi Quattro concept needs 3.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h while an improved fuel consumption is offered, just 8,5 liters/100 km.
