The Germans at Volkswagen revealed the new Volkswagen Passat which comes with a wide range of engines and with a modern design found also on various models of the Germans. The new Volkswagen Passat Sedan and Variant comes with the latest driver assist technology availabe such as City Automatic Emergency Braking, but also with systems that increase the ease of use such as the Easy Open system.
Under the hood, the new Volkswagen Passat comes with four petrol engines, a 1.4-liter TFSI able to develop 122 horsepower, 1.8-liter, 2.0-liter and V6 able to deliver 160, 211 and 300 horsepower. Four TDI engines with a horsepower output from 105 to 170 are available while an Ecofuel and a 1.4-liter TSI 160HP MultiFuel engine are present under the hood.
The 1.6-liter TDI entry-level engine manages to obtain a fuel consumption of 4.2 liters/100 km developing 105 horsepower. The Germans released few video presentation for both the body versions of the new Volkswagen Passat.
