The Germans at Volkswagen decided to release new information on the Amarok Power concept, a prototype based on the current version of the well-known pick-up truck. On display at Wörthersee, the Amarok Power stands out thanks to the impressive 5,000-watt sound system.
It comes with six loudspeakers, two speakers and a subwoofer from Void Acoustics. Additional Pioneer and Allen & Health equipment can be found in the car’s load bed.
At the exterior, you will recognize the one-off model by its Dynamic Grey metallic finish, large 22-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights and orange side stripes.
Inside, the Amarok Power concept comes with an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, black & orange Nappa leather, carbon leather inserts and bucket seats. Power is offered by a 3.0-liter V6 producing 272 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque.
Thanks to the company’s 4MOTION all-wheel drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission, the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in 7,9 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/h.
