The Germans from Volkswagen decided to release photos and details on a special edition of the new Beetle. We talk about the 53 Edition, a model which is especially dedicated to the Spanish market.
Under the bonnet, VW will offer a total of three units starting with a 1.2-liter TSI with 105hp and continuing with a 1.6-liter TDI producing 105hp and a 2.0-liter TDI with 140hp.
Of course, the new special edition stands out though some aesthetic improvements such as a white exterior with blue and red stripes. We can also see a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels while there are new “53” badges as well.
“An exclusive edition inspired Herbie, the Beetle known star of Disney films. This intrepid careerist of the 60s is back with the Beetle, with full equipment, and with the most genuine spirit of sportsmanship,” says VW.
Spanish buyers will be able to order the new Beetle 53 Edition with prices starting at €22,090.
