Volkswagen releases official details and photos on a special edition based on the Caddy van. Called Edition 30, the new model comes to celebrate 30 years since the van entered the British market.
Obviously, the new model will be exclusively available in the UK with prices starting at £17,660. Under the bonnet we find a 2.0-liter TDI unit producing 140hp and returning a fuel economy of 47,1mpg UK (manual) or 44,8mpg UK (automatic).
The German van is also capable to complete the 0-100 km/h sprint in around 10 seconds.
In terms of styling, the VW Caddy Edition 30 benefits from 17-inch alloy wheels, a white finish with black roof and new trim. Inside, you will find Alcantara upholstery, Bluetooth connectivity, a premium audio system and air conditioning.
“The striking exterior follows the design cues of other sporty Volkswagen vans, such as the Transporter Sportline,” says the carmaker.
Finally, Volkswagen says that only 117 vehicles will be built.
