Volkswagen CC R-Line is a special edition of the current German sedan which is scheduled to arrive in the U.S. later this year.
However, we will get a closer look at the CC R-Line on June 1st at the Auto Mobil International Show which will be held in Leipzig.
At the exterior, the model gets larger 18-inch alloy wheels, new front and rear bumpers, a chrome grille, side skirts, R-Line logos and smoked taillights.
Under the bonnet we will find a 2.0-liter TSI gasoline with 200 horsepower coupled to a six-speed manual transmission.
A six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox is also on the option list. Other features include automatic climate control, leather seats, bi-xenon lights, premium audio system and new trim.
“The new CC makes an even bolder move towards the automotive luxury class, offering a sleek, dramatic look at a highly attainable price,” says the company.
More details about the new CC R-Line will be available after next month’s debut in Germany.
